Nikos Sepetzoglou was born in 1979 in Athens. He currently lives and works in Athens. In 2015, he completed his master's degree (MSc) in Spatial Architecture, Department A: Architectural Design-Space-Culture, Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Studies Program 2, School of Architecture, National Technical University of Athens. He studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts (BA) under Professor Giannis Psychopaidis and also attended the engraving workshop with Professor V. Kazakos. He graduated in 2005 with honors and won an award for young artists funded by Eurobank. He has presented his work in five solo exhibitions in Athens (Bubble Dam, Elika Gallery, 2017 / I Have A Diver Down II, Elika Gallery, 2014 / ...O... (or a fragment), Elika Gallery, 2011 / Violence to Waste Love, Six d.o.g.s project space, 2009 / I Have A Diver Down... open studio show, 2009) and has participated in many group exhibitions in Greece. Alongside his artistic practice, he works in the field of research and reconstruction of fresco design from the Bronze Age in the Aegean, in collaboration with the excavations at Akrotiri on Santorini (2008-2021) and with the Archaeological Museum of Thebes (2011-2015). He also specializes in archaeological drawing and has worked on various archaeological projects throughout Greece.
