Born and living in Ioannina, Natalia Stavrou studied at the Ioannina School of Fine Arts. She works actively in the field of street art, creating works in different areas of the city. She is a multidisciplinary artist. Her work draws on popular culture, advertising and the mass media. She questions our relationship with the media and the incessant flow of images that punctuate our daily lives. Through heterogeneous compositions of images, whether in painting, video or site-specific installations, she captures the atmosphere of an era marked by visual saturation.
